After a distinguished 22-year career in real estate with a large brokerage firm, Steve has transitioned into the role of VP/Managing Broker at Unique: A Real Estate Collective; a locally owned; upscale Real Estate Brokerage Firm. At Unique, Steve and his team focus on quality, not quantity. Steve believes in carefully aligning with real estate professionals who all share the same values regarding commitment to their profession and enhanced client experience.

Leveraging years of expertise in real estate and a deep passion for agent and client satisfaction, Steve excels in guiding and supporting agents to achieve their highest potential and best possible results for their clients.

In addition to his role at Unique, Steve has contributed significantly to the real estate industry through various leadership positions, including serving on the NC State Residential Forms Committee (chair in 2025), the NC Joint Forms Task Force, and as Local Realtor Board President. His commitment to enhancing industry growth and compliance is further demonstrated by his role on the Canopy MLS Board of Directors.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys sailing (now par-time) and indulging in hiking adventures with his wife, Susan and their precious Golden Retriever, Piper. He finds joy in relaxing on his deck with family and friends, taking in the stunning mountain views, and savoring craft brews from Beer City, USA (with all due respect Grand Rapids).
